Princes Trust carbon offsetting

Alliance C02 recently wrote to the Prince of Wales offering to plant 50 trees to help reduce the carbon footprint from the Dimbleby Lecture and The Prince's Trust offices in Stourbridge... below is an excerpt from the reply...

"The Prince of Wales has asked me to thank you most kindly for your letter of 27th July.  His Royal Highness is encouraged that you, like so many, are doing all you can to help the U.K. reduce its carbon footprint. His Royal Highness was most interested to learn of your work with McDonald's, British Gas and other high profile British companies.

His Royal Highness was very touched by your offer to plant 50 trees to offset the emissions from the Dimbleby Lecture and to plant a further 50 to help reduce the carbon footprint of The Prince's Trust offices in Stourbridge"...
